Substance Use and Abuse

This course is designed to provide an overview of the biological, psychological, and social factors contributing to substance use, abuse, and dependency. Assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and the role of the counselor will be discussed.

Prerequisite: 510 and 517 and 518 and 576 and 584.
