Introduction to Numerical Computing
CS *375 (3)(Also offered as MATH 375.) An introductory course covering such topics as solution of linear and nonlinear equations; interpolation and approximation of functions, including splines; techniques for approximate differentiation and integration; solution of differential equations; familiarization with existing software.
Prerequisite: (151L or 152L or PHYC 290 or ECE 131) and (MATH 314 or MATH 316 or MATH 321).
