Spanish for Lawyers I
LAW 577 (2)This course will stress and teach the basic legal terminology that is used in our judicial system in a variety of practice settings. The course will strive to give the practitioner a basic understanding of the legal framework that their Spanish speaking clients come from if they are from countries with civil system traditions. Basic terminology will be taught in the areas of criminal law, domestic relations and minor civil disputes.
Second and Third Year Course.
