Teaching of Social Studies
LLSS 432 (3)This course is part of the professional education sequence for undergraduate students seeking certification to teach secondary social studies. The purpose of this course is to provide pre-service teachers with resources and methods for effectively teaching social studies curricula. We will investigate processes of constructing knowledge in the disciplines of history and the social sciences as they are embedded in the secondary social studies curriculum.
Corequisite: EDUC 362.
