New Mexico Border Health
PH 579 (2)Provides an overview of history of U.S./Mexican Border. In particular, the course focuses on current relevant public health problems, policies and health care delivery to address this issue. For example, this course will also examine how the North American Free Trade Agreement has impacted public and environmental health. Immigration Policy and effects of the Maquiladora Industry will also be examined. (G)
