CCST 1125 (3)The course explores diverse musical expressions of Chicana/o and Latina/o peoples in the present geographical boundaries of the United States. The course emphasizes the intercultural dynamics in the formation of Chicano and Latino music, which incorporates American, Latin American, African, Native American, and European roots.
