Power Electronics II
ECE 489 / 589 (3)Analysis and design of practical power electronic circuits and grid or off-grid inverters. Operation and specification of power devices such as diodes, MOSFETS, IGBTs, SCRs, inductors, and transformers. Simulation of converters using SPICE.
Prerequisite: 381 and (482 or 582).
Restriction: admitted to B.S.Cp.E. Computer Engineering or B.S.E.E. Electrical Engineering.
