This course provides an introduction to the psychological development of women and girls using contemporary and emerging theoretical frameworks. The course will also explore qualitative research methods and consider the implications of cultural and empirical constructions of gender for social and educational policy and practice.
Prerequisite: an introductory course in the psychology of personality. An introductory course in women studies is recommended but not essential.
Prerequisite: PSY 331.
