Seminar in Mathematics in the World
HNRS 2221 (3)This is an interdisciplinary and rigorous introduction to mathematical reasoning. Themed sections connect foundational ideas of mathematics, such as logic, systems of numbers, sequences and series, geometry, and probability to other aspects of human thought.
Meets New Mexico General Education Curriculum Area 2: Mathematics and Statistics.
Prerequisite: HNRS 1120.
Restriction: admitted to programs in Honors College.
