The interdisciplinary Professional Master of Science (P.M.S.) in Global and National Security program prepares graduates to have a broad understanding of the strategic, institutional, technological, and cultural contexts in which scientists, engineers, technologists, lawyers, businesspeople, and other public and private sector employees operate. The program covers several important international issues that transcend states and regions, such as nuclear weapons and non-proliferation power issues, natural resources, humanitarian issues, innovation, and infrastructure resiliency.
The Graduate Record Exam (GRE) test is not required for admission to the P.M.S. in Global and National Security.
The Professional Master of Science (P.M.S.) in Global and National Security is offered under Plan III (coursework only) according to the general requirements specified in the Graduate Program section of this Catalog. The program requires completion of 33 credit hours as follows:
