Information on applying to the Dietetic Internship and on additional requirements for completion of the M.S. degree is on the Nutrition and Dietetics program Web site.
The Master of Science (M.S.) in Nutrition is designed to prepare students for careers in the field of Nutrition and Dietetics including opportunities in administrative and clinical dietetics community nutrition and research. It is desirable that the candidate has an undergraduate major in nutrition and dietetics or closely related field. Individuals without an undergraduate degree in nutrition should consult a Nutrition Graduate Advisor for more information. Students without prior preparation in nutrition may be accepted into the program following completion of prerequisites. A list of prerequisites is available on the Nutrition and Dietetics program Web site. The degree is available under both Plan I and Plan II in accordance with the regulations found in the Graduate Program section of this Catalog. Plan II consists of a publishable paper.
