Minors

Minor in Entrepreneurship

For those schools and colleges accepting the Entrepreneurship minor, the requirements are a minimum total of 18 credit hours. Six credit hours must be selected from MGMT 113, 202; STAT 145; or ECON 106 (Economics courses are allowed for non-Economics majors only). Students must complete MGMT 324 (New Venture Strategies) and MGMT *495 (Managing and Operating Small, Growing Businesses). The remaining 6 credit hours should be selected from additional courses listed under the Entrepreneurship B.B.A. concentration (362, 384, 421, *496 or 497). Students must receive grades of "C-" or better in all courses applied to the minor.


Minor in International Management

For those schools and colleges accepting the International Management minor, the requirements are a minimum total of 18 credit hours. Six credit hours must be selected from MGMT 113, 202; STAT 145 or ECON 106 (Economics courses are allowed for non-Economics majors only). Students must also complete MGMT 328 (International Management). The remaining 9 credit hours should be selected from courses listed under the International Management B.B.A. concentration (420, 421, 422, *474, 483, 492 and relevant special topics courses). Students must receive grades of "C-" or better in all courses applied to the minor.


Minor in Management

For those schools and colleges accepting the Management minor, the requirements are a total of 18 credit hours with 6 to 9 credit hours must be selected from MGMT 113, 202; STAT 145 or one of the following economics courses: ECON 105 or 106 or 300 (Economics courses are allowed for non-Economics majors only). The remaining credit hours should be selected from these Management courses (300, 303, 306, 308, 310, 322, 324, 326, 328, 329, 330, 459). Students must receive grades of "C-" or better in all courses applied to the minor.


Minor in Marketing Management

The Marketing Management minor requires a total of 18 credit hours. All Marketing Management minor students must take MGMT 322, ECON 106, and ENGL 120. Each student should consult with the Marketing faculty advisor to choose an additional 9 credit hours of Marketing courses. Marketing courses include MGMT 433, 435, 480, 481, 483, 484, 485, 486, 487, 488, *489, and some 490 special topics offerings. All pre- or corequisites must be satisfied. Students must receive grades of "C-" or better in all courses applied to the minor.
